Tabor’s Taste: Fiesta Mexicana

November 25, 2007

taco.gifThis week I went to a restaurant in Wakefield called Fiesta Mexicana. The restaurant is Mexican themed. The walls of the restaurant are painted like you’re in a Mexican village with buildings and people painted on the walls. The waiters/waitresses are very nice people who will soon become your friends.

I come here all the time, so the people here call me “taco man”. They call me this because I can eat a lot of tacos, last time I came here I ate 15. For my dinner of course I ordered tacos. I was planning on beating my record, there’s always a lot a pressure on me to beat my record.

I got my tacos right away, about 2 minutes after I sat down. The reason I eat so many tacos here is because once I take my first bite into them I cant stop. The meat is so juicy and flavorful with the tomatoes and onions mixed into it. Of course they don’t just have tacos and your probably wondering what else they have. One thing I would recommend is there chicken nachos. Its nachos with cheese, chicken, salsa, and beans on the side. There are also enchiladas, which are tortillas filled with chicken, (and anything else you want in it) it has salsa on the top, then you can pick your side.

Well I beat my record of 15 tacos, and beat it by five, so I ate 20 tacos that night. Taco man has made another record! Since I beat my old record the manager gave me 10 tacos on the house. So at the end of the day I beat my record of eating 15 tacos and I’m giving this restaurant a 9 out of 10 for good food, good people, and it is very nicely decorated. I would recommend this restaurant to people who like Mexican food, be prepared to try new things.
