Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill
May 17, 2008
This week I went to Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill on Capital Boulevard. This is a Japanese themed restaurant with Japanese symbols everywhere. There is a sports bar with a TV that looks to be about 50”in diameter. They also have mini TV’s everywhere so you can watch TV and sit down and eat. And for you people who like Japanese food, Crazy Fire has it’s own separate sushi bar.
The real reason I came here is for the “all you can eat” buffet. It’s real simple, all you do is go to the buffet line and pick out the ingredients you want for your meal. First you pick out your meats (if you want any) I got shaved beef. Then I put some white meat chicken with some noodles on top. Then you can put on vegetables, but I didn’t feel like them tonight. After that you can put on your sauce, so I put on soy sauce, crazy sauce(hot), and garlic chili(very hot). Then you put on the spices that you want, so I put on garlic powder, ginger powder, cayenne powder, and rosemary leaves.
Of course all the food you just put in your bowl is raw so you have to get it cooked. After you’re done getting your food, you take it to the cooks and they will cook it in front of you. It’s fun to watch them because sometimes they do some cool tricks. When they are done they will offer you brown or white rice. Of course I had to use chopsticks to eat my food. My meal my great, it was nice flavorful and had the right spice to it. The good thing is if you mess up your meal like putting to much spice on it, you can just get right up and go redo your dish because it’s all you can eat.
This restaurant is great so I’m giving it a 10 out of 10. The waiters/waitresses are helpful, the food is cheap and healthy, great entertainment, and its all you can eat! I think anyone will like this restaurant even if you don’t like Japanese food because it has a variety of food for everyone.
