New Year

January 14, 2009

The new year feels like a new beginning. The new year is a time of new beginning, you can break bad habits and change old routines. You can get on top of your work, or get organized. I, personally, am edeavoring to keep my room and locker clean (for a couple days, at least). I am also trying to improve my typing skills, because I’ll need them for high school and college.
In a new demorcratic county, the Americans must have felt like they were facing a new beginning, too. They had a fresh slate to make their own government and laws. They started a new country and made it all up themselves. So, their beginning was like the new year.
